How to send a notice
How to send a notice to our Club Voodoo V.I.P's
1. Open up the Group Info VooDoo vips
2. Click on the Notices tab.
3. Click the "Create New Notices" tab.
4. Make the subject line catchy and short. It helps to include the SLT time in the subject line for people who get the notice at a later time.
5. In the message, include the DJ and TIME Again, do your best to make the notices fun and eye catching but to the point.
6. Please remember to include a Landmark in each notice. Simply drag the club's LM from your inventory to the box next to "Attach" below the message. It should say "Drag and drop here..." next to a little blank box. Doing so, will automatically attach the LM to your notice.
7. Click "Send Notice

DJ transition Procedure
To ensure a smooth transition between DJ the following is required :
A DJ will arrive at the club at least 15 min before the start of your set. If you are coming in hot ( from another set) it is your duty to tell the manager on duty so they can let the current DJ know.
Sam DJ are encouraged to piggy back. If you can not piggy back you will take the stream at the top of the hour.
Do not take the stream before the hour unless asked by the DJ before you or a member of the voodoo management team HAS ASKED.
It is YOUR JOB to message the current DJ before taking the stream.
Some DJ may count you in. If they do not let them know you will take it at the top of the hour.
DJ are to make sure THEIR STREAM IS WORKING before taking the stream at the hour. This means checking your stream before you start.
Current DJ are to try to end right on time their set at the 00 hour.
at the 57 mark you should not be talking on mic, you should have said your goodbyes, thanked your vips and current staff working with you ON MIC.
DJ can send out TWO AND ONLY TWO invites to their DJ group between 15 min into their set and 10 min to the last of their set.
DJ are to remain ACTIVE on mic as much as possible and keep up as active with the local chat as possible. If nobody is there talk to your host or manager or even yourself, we will not judge you.
DJ, while having fun is awesome, please refrain from mic fucking aka moaning nonstop into the mic.
REMEMBER to log out of your tip jar at the end of your set and log in at the start of your set.
Promote events, your host and the staff donation jars.
PIGGYBACKING PROCEDURE
**You'll want to start doing this no later than 5 mins to the top of the hour**
Step 1 - COPY from the ABOUT LAND TAB the URL of the preceding DJ
Step 2 - GO to SAM Broadcaster and in the Music QUEUE, press down the arrow to the right of the big GREEN + sign.
Step 3 - A box will pop up where you'll paste the STREAM URL of the current DJ
Step 4 - Drag the displayed stream (now in your QUEUE) to either of your main Decks and press play. You will now hear the live stream of the current DJ.
Step 5 - Run your encoder (you are now streaming the current DJ).
Step 6 - Switch to your stream at :58 by either logging into the shoutcast board or by dropping your stream in land.
Step 7 - Fade to your next song in the queue at :00, unless you've made other arrangements with the previous DJ.

We expect our staff to have a fun, vibrant and respectful personality.
Working Staff are not to be in any INWORLD, DISCORD, SKYPE ONLINE calls at anytime. You need to Concentrate on your set and focuas on the V.I.P's in the club
We ask DJ to do their best to engage with V.I.P's and Hosts. We understand that Live mix DJ maybe have a little more difficulty doing this.
DJ are expected to talk on mic at all sets, Promote your host, club donation jars, shopping mall and events. BE INTERACTIVE at all times ON MIC not just text in local.
We like the fact you send your dj group invites out, however DJ can send out TWO AND ONLY TWO invites to their dj group between 15 min into their set and 10 min to the lend of their set.
DJ will not send out invites to their own group unless on duty or messaged in private IM. It will only go to the person who has messaged.
All staff on duty will not be in voice calls of any kind, you need to pay attention to your set.
The Club takes 5% of all tips you receive. All tips must go through your tip jar. If tipped directly by anyone you must put it through your tip jar personally. If found to be taking direct tips (you can be tested by us using an alt at any time) you will be instantly dismissed from Club Voodoo.
All staff are to remain on stage in their spot during their set unless we are having a special event which will be stated by upper management.
MANAGER, DJ and HOST Tags can only be worn while on duty. These tags must not be worn unless on duty. Assistant GM, GM and Owner tags are permitted at all times.
If you are having issues with your stream, put the club on radio. This is located in the About Land General Tab, click Sound tab and copy and paste the stream into land and +. Let the manager on duty know. The radio stream URL is located in the staff group general tab.
Dead air is not allowed at Club Voodoo at anytime.
CHECK IN is in Voodoo Staff group 30 minutes prior to the set starting to let the Manager know the next set is staffed. We expect the Dj and Host already on duty to keep this box open to ascertain who the NEXT DJ Is. Voodoo staff is strictly check ins/fills/club related issues. All other chat discussion/chat/banter will be kept to Voodoo group for Chatters. NO EXCEPTIONS.
As stated you are expected to CHECK IN no later than 15 minutes prior to set starting. Failure to do so will result in a No Show. Three No Shows could result in your permanent set/s being removed and/or termination of employment. Call outs will be treated in the same fashion.
All staff are required to do at least one permanent set (same time and day every week) or at least two fill in sets. We do keep logs on which staff members do what sets. You can do Fill in sets as well as your permanent, your help is appreciated.
Notices are to be sent by the host on duty. If no host on duty, the manager on duty will send the notice.
Gestures are to be no longer than 7 lines. This is for all staff to follow. We do not want our hosts using a lot of gestures. A personal touch is much better.
Drama is to be kept out of Club Voodoo. This includes bad attitudes/boyfriend-girlfriend issues/fighting. If you are dating another staff member and break up we expect you to be professional in the Club at all times. A warm, welcoming atmosphere must be maintained. This includes STAFF GROUPS AND CHAT GROUPS.
Sleeping while on duty will NOT BE TOLERATED. If you are tired message the Manager on duty to find back up by using a personal IM.
If you have an issue working with a member staff contact a member of Management. We expect all staff to act like adults at all times this means putting on your BIG GIRL panties.
If a dispute with a manager happens your chain of command is Asst Manager, Manager, Asst GM, Gm, Owner.
STAFF are NOT to harass/beg for tips , ask no more than three times in a two hour set in local or on mic never in IM.
NUDITY is not permitted.
DO NOT ABUSE YOUR EJECT RIGHTS! You must not ban anyone for a personal reason. Second Life have provided a mute/block tool, please use this. If your personal issue is bad use the abuse report for Second Life.
STAFF will not abuse their Rezzing right. This is a privilege, and if abused, will be revoked for the Staff member. Escorting in Club Voodoo is NOT TOLERATED.
Staff must conduct themselves in a dignified manner at all times this includes how you chat, excessive bad language/sex talk (ie sucking cock, cunt poking) is not the image Club Voodoo wants to have. When hired, Hosts will receive a Host Training tag until they have attended the mandatory hosting class after which they will receive Host Tag on completion of class. You may also be asked to redo the course before Host Tag is awarded.

AFK, Please limit your on duty afk time to no more than 5 minutes. If you are going to be longer then tell the Manager on duty, come off the stage and remove your host tag. STAFF MUST NOT announce in local that they will brb as this can cause people to disrupt the club. Tell your DJ or Manager and let them know when you returned.
Hosts are asked to list Events in SL Events. This helps create traffic for the club and increases your tips.
Club Voodoo requires Hosts to dress appropriately keeping your bits covered. We are not in the sex industry and require you to show self respect and dignity at all times. You are the Face of Club Voodoo.
Hosts are to enforce the club rules at all times.

AFK, Please limit your on duty afk time to no more than 5 minutes. If you are going to be longer then tell the Manager on duty, come off the stage and remove your host tag. Hosts are asked to list Events in SL Events. This helps create traffic for the club and increases your tips.
Club Voodoo requires Hosts to dress appropriately keeping your bits covered. We are not in the sex industry and require you to show self respect and dignity at all times. You are the Face of Club Voodoo.
Hosts are to enforce the club rules at all times.

Gestures are to be no longer than 7 lines. This is for all staff to follow. We do not want our hosts using a lot of gestures. A personal touch is much better.

If you are dating another staff member and break up we expect you to be professional in the Club at all times. A warm, welcoming atmosphere must be maintained. Sleeping while on duty will NOT BE TOLERATED! If you are tired message the Manager on duty to find back up by using a personal IM.
If you have an issue working with a member of staff, contact a member of Management. Do not bring it into the Staff group or to local chat in Club. This must be done in a personal IM. Staff will be dismissed if this happens in Local in Club.
If you have a dispute with a manager, your chain of command is Asst Manager, Manager, Asst GM, Gm, Owner.
STAFF are NOT to harass/beg for tips. Ask no more than three times in a two hour set in local, never in IM.
NUDITY is not permitted, IM and ask to dress. If they fail to do so within 1 minute, eject and IM saying they are welcome back after they dress. TROLLS are to be ejected and banned. Any Vip on stage, ask in IM for them to step down. If they fail then eject. If they persist then eject and ban.

STAFF will not abuse their Rezzing right. This is a privilege, and if abused, will be revoked for the Staff member. Escorting in Club Voodoo is NOT TOLERATED.
Staff must conduct themselves in a dignified manner at all times, this includes how you chat. Excessive bad language/sex talk (ie sucking cock, cunt poking) is not the image Club Voodoo wants to have. DJ and Hosts are to log out of their tip jars at 57 (thats 3 mins before your set ends) you are to log out of your tip jar remove yourself off stage so current staff can get up

Beacons:
ctrl + alt + t for prim hunt red screen

WORLD , show more beacons , tick beacons , put width at 16 tick each box , physical , scripted , sound sources , particle sources and media sources. There is a table on your screen that explains the colour lines .
Beacons are used to show us scripts , how heavy it is by the amount of lines on the person . Eject and advise .
SOUNDS for people playing avatar sound can be annoying, if someone complains u can find who it is and politely ask for them to turn off their avatar sound but only if u receive complaint. If they refuse to turn off their sound then eject., as the sound runs on the same media level as the djs music.
PARTICLES , show us who is emitting particles , like glitter or stars but also shows us greifers using particle hits , anyone showing heavily blue is pushing a lot of particles and needs to be watched ... Message and advise to turn off particles . If they refuse then u eject , advise to remove before return , if they return in the same state then u proceed to ban add name to the parcel ban list.

if you see somebody with their penis sticking out drop them a message if they do not do anything eject them if they come back like that ban them do that notecard
